Detailed Itinerary
Day 1: Arrival and Transfer to Queen Elizabeth National Park
On arrival at Entebbe International Airport, you will meet our representative to transfer to Queen Elizabeth National park.
Enjoy scenic views of hills in the western part of Uganda; have a stopover at the equator for photographs to symbolize your crossing the equator and in Mbarara for lunch.
Proceed to the park with a wide game view of animals like Uganda Kobs, Savanna Elephants, and Waterbucks among others. Dinner and overnight stay at the lodge

Day 2: Game drive and Launch cruise
After breakfast, you will set off for an early morning breakfast to catch up with the morning game. Expect lots of animals, including elephants, Lions, buffaloes, waterbucks, warthogs, and Uganda kobs among others and return to the lodge for lunch.
After lunch, you will enjoy an afternoon boat cruise on Kazinga Channel with a number of hippos, crocodiles, buffaloes, and several water birds. Dinner and an overnight stay at Lodge.

Day 3: Transfer to Bwindi impenetrable National park
In the morning after breakfast, you will embark on a transfer to Bwindi impenetrable forest via the Ishasha sector that gives a chance of seeing the tree-climbing lions at a closer range.
Continue to Bwindi with lunch en route and arrive in the evening to check into the lodge and relax. Dinner and overnight stay at the lodge.

Day 4: Gorilla trekking in Bwindi National Park
After an early morning breakfast, you will head to the park headquarters for a briefing; immediately you will be directed to enter the forest with the park rangers leading in the search for the gorillas.
This will take you about 2–8 hours, depending on the movement of the gorillas in the wild; meet and stay with them for a maximum of one hour, and then you will return and relax at the lodge. Dinner and overnight stay at the lodge

Day 5: Transfer to Volcanoes National park & Visit the twin lakes
Wake up for a transfer to Volcanoes national park. The drive goes through the beautiful countryside and people’s homesteads along with dramatic views of the Virunga Volcanoes.
Upon arrival at Ruhengeri, enjoy a nature walk to the twin lakes before relaxing at your lodge after lunch en route.

Day 6: Golden monkey tracking & cultural tour
After an early morning breakfast, transfer to the park headquarters for briefing and later enter the forest and hike while in search of the golden monkeys.
Tracking golden monkeys rewards visitors with views of other primates, including the black and white Colobus monkeys and Olive baboons. In the afternoon, drive to Ibya’cuwa cultural village to have an experience of Banyarwanda culture and tradition, relaxation, dinner and overnight stay at lodge as above
Day 7: Transfer to Lake Kivu – Kibuye
In the morning after breakfast, transfer to lake Kivu with great views of the Virunga mountains on a boat ride, visiting some of the islands before you proceed to Kibuye.

Day 8: Transfer to Nyungwe forest National Park
After breakfast, set off for Nyungwe forest National Park. It is a scenic drive that goes through people’s homesteads and different hills of Rwanda—the land of a thousand hills. Arrive in the afternoon. Dinner and overnight stay at the lodge.

Day 9: Chimp trekking and Canopy walk
After a heavy breakfast, you will head to the park headquarters to track the chimpanzee, which also gives you an opportunity to encounter a variety of forest birds.
In the afternoon, you will have a canopy walk in the forest, where you will view other primates from the top of the forest. Dinner and overnight stay at Nyungwe top view hill hotel
Day 10: Departure / Transfer to Kigali
After breakfast, you will set off for Kigali, with en route visits to Nyanza Kings’ palace for a cultural visit, the Butare national museum, and the Murambi genocide museum, among others. You will arrive in Kigali in the late afternoon / early evening and drop off at your booked hotel in Kigali or at the airport.
