Detailed Itinerary
Day 1: Pick up and Transfer to Kibale National Park
After breakfast, embark on your journey from Entebbe to Kibale Forest National Park, driving past Mityana town with lunch en route in Fort Portal town and proceed with the journey to Kibale forest.
Dinner and overnight stay at the booked lodge.
Day 2: Chimpanzee Trekking in Kibale
Have breakfast and go to the park headquarters for a briefing, after which you embark on the Chimpanzee trekking experience where you attend to the Chimpanzees as a caretaker!
Enter the forest early and watch chimps leave their overnight nests before feeding, copulating, hunting, breastfeeding, resting, patrolling, and displaying until it’s time to build new nests around 7 p.m.
Return for dinner and overnight at the lodge.
Day 3: Transfer to Queen Elizabeth National Park
Enjoy breakfast and transfer to Queen Elizabeth National Park, with an exciting visit to the Amabere Ganyinamwiru stalagmites site, caves, and waterfall, plus a rewarding hike to the crater lakes in Fort Portal. Have lunch and proceed to Queen Elizabeth National Park.
Arrive at Queen Elizabeth national park and embark on the evening game drive in the Kasenyi sector—a favorable hunting and mating ground for lions.
Enjoy a game drive and proceed to the lodge for dinner and an overnight stay.
Day 4: Ishasha Game drive and Launch cruise
Wake up, have breakfast, and embark on your drive to the Ishasha sector of Queen Elizabeth National Park for a game drive where you may see most of the big five and chance a sighting of the tree-climbing lions. This side of the park is less explored and the vegetation itself is interesting. Exit Ishasha at 11am and drive to Mweya, where you will enjoy lunch at Mweya safari lodge.
In the afternoon, you will go for a launch cruise along the Kazinga Channel. This cruise will let you pass through a place with the highest concentration of hippos, and you may also see many animals drinking at the water’s edge. The cruise also offers a good platform for photography, bird watching and game viewing.
Return to the lodge for dinner and an overnight stay.
Day 5: Full Day in Queen Elizabeth National Park
Have breakfast and go on a morning game drive to catch up with the early riders and see more wildlife than you could have missed in the past days.
Visit the Katwe salt pans where you will see locals doing salt mining. Have lunch in Mweya and enjoy another boat cruise on the Kazinga channel – you can never get enough of it!

Day 6: Transfer to Bwindi Via Ishasha (8 hours)
Breakfast will be served early and embark on your journey to Bwindi Impenetrable Forest, driving through the Ishasha sector of Queen Elizabeth national park to boost your chances of seeing the tree-climbing lions. Proceed to Bwindi with lunch en route, arriving in the afternoon.

Day 7: Gorilla trekking in Bwindi
Early in the morning, after breakfast and a briefing from the UWA officials, we set off for gorilla tracking. This is a once-in-a-lifetime experience and unforgettable adventure.
The ranger guides will lead you into the thick forest and start your search for the endangered Mountain Gorillas. You will move up and down the rugged terrain until you finally meet these harmonious creatures that will entertain you with performances for about 1 hour.
The activity can take 2 to 8 hours depending on the movement of the Gorillas. This is a wonderful and exciting moment. En route, there are other types of primates, such as monkeys, birds and more.
After the trek, you will receive your Gorilla trekking certificate and meet up with your driver / guide and return to the lodge, where you will spend the evening at leisure.

Day 8: Batwa Trail & Transfer to Lake Bunyonyi
Enjoy breakfast and go for the Batwa trail experience, where you will visit the Batwa pygmies with a local “twa” guide. You will learn about how they survived in the forest and their current ways of life! Have lunch and embark on the afternoon drive to Kabale town with its lovely terraced hills and continue to Lake Bunyonyi, arriving in the evening.

Day 9: Lake Bunyonyi Tour
Breakfast will be served and you can go for a boat ride and tour the various islands with different experiences! Lake Bunyonyi literally means “a place of little birds,” and as such, you will experience a lot of bird life on the islands and get an insight into the people’s way of living as you visit the locals. You can even enjoy a swim there! Dinner and overnight stay.
Day 10: Drive to Lake Mburo National Park
Have breakfast at leisure and transfer to Lake Mburo National Park, arriving in good time for lunch and an evening game drive. This park is the only place you will see Zebras on the entire safari! Dinner and overnight stay at Rwakobo Rock
Day 11: Transfer to Entebbe / Kampala
Wake up and go for an early morning game drive to catch up with the early risers and have a chance of spotting the leopard.
Return to the lodge to freshen up and enjoy a midmorning breakfast, after which you transfer back to Entebbe with a stopover at the Equator in Kayabwe.
Drop off in Entebbe / Kampala.
