Detailed itinerary
Day 1: Pick Up at Entebbe airport – Hotel
Upon Arrival at Entebbe International airport, you will meet our company representative, who will also be your safari guide.
From the airport, drive to Kampala and connect to your hotel; proceed to check in for relaxation, dinner, and an overnight stay at the hotel of your choice.
Day 2: Transfer to Gulu
Wake up and have breakfast, and after that, set off on your journey to Gulu. Upon arrival, check in to your lodge or hotel for relaxation and an overnight stay.
Day 3: Transfer to Kidepo Valley National Park – Game Drive
Wake up early, have breakfast and continue with your journey to Kidepo national park, while in Gulu, you will have covered half of the journey to Kidepo; it’s a 4-5 hour drive to Kidepo national park where you will arrive in the park at a good time for your lunch at your lodge.
Later connect for an afternoon game drive in Narus valley in anticipation of seeing herds of buffalos, zebras, elephants, giraffes, hyenas, and cheetahs.
You will enjoy a slow drive and you can be sure to seize picture moments while on your game drive and you can have stops at any moment you please. Return to the lodge and spend the evening at leisure admiring the wilderness. Dinner and overnight.
Day 4: Game Drive in Kidepo Valley and Narus valley
After breakfast, drive to Kidepo valley as you admire the true wilderness and an out-of-this-world experience!
Drive extensively up to Kanangorok Hot Springs and brace yourself for photo opportunities and chances of catching sight of more wildlife, especially lions sitting on the rocks as they scan the park for possible prey.
Drive back to the lodge to relax and have lunch.
In the afternoon, head out for a cultural tour to the Karamojong people for a truly unique experience
A visit to the Karamojong is a truly rewarding experience you should look forward to. Later, transfer back to the lodge for dinner and overnight.
Day 5: Transfer for Murchison Falls National Park
After early morning breakfast, embark on your journey to Murchison falls park with lunch en route in Gulu town.
Proceed to enter the park and connect to your lodge with an en route game drive. Dinner and overnight stay.
Day 6: Game drive and launch cruise on the Nile
After an early breakfast at the lodge, you will go for a morning game drive. The activity takes about 3-5 hours depending on animals available, and you will find animals including elephants, Rothschild giraffes, buffaloes, lions, Hartebeest, Uganda Kobs, Oribis and waterbucks.
After the game drive, you will return to the lodge for lunch. Later in the afternoon at 2 pm, go for a launch cruise along the Nile, which will give you an exciting panoramic view at the bottom of the mighty Murchison falls.
Along the cruise, you will encounter crocodiles, hippos, and birds on the riverbanks like kingfishers, cormorants and bee-eaters.
You will spend time viewing the falls at the bottom while taking pictures.
Return to the lodge for dinner and an overnight stay.
Day 7: Top of the falls visit and Rhino tracking
After breakfast, set off to visit the top of the falls, then after, drive out of the park and connect to Ziwa rhino sanctuary for rhino tracking. Dinner and overnight stay.
Day 8: Transfer to Kibale National Park
You will have breakfast early and then set off to Kibale Forest national park with lunch en route; it’s a 6-7-hour drive with en route lunch in Fort portal town. Connect to your lodge for relaxation, dinner and an overnight stay.
Day 9: Chimpanzee trekking and Bigodi nature walk
Wake up early and have breakfast. After going for a briefing, start Chimpanzee trekking. Kibale Forest National Park is one of the best safari destinations in Africa for chimpanzee tracking.
After lunch, go for a nature walk in the Bigodi swamp area and look out for most of the water-loving bird species. The forest/park has almost 335 species of birds and therefore is a good place for birders. Thereafter, transfer to Queen Elizabeth national park.
Dinner and overnight stay.
Day 10: Game drive and Launch cruise
Wake up and have breakfast. After setting out for the game drive in search of early risers in the Kasenyi area. The park has a diverse ecosystem of grassy plains, rivers, crater lakes, forests, swamps, and lakes.
These are home to various types of wildlife and a game drive in Queen Elizabeth National Park will reward you with views of animals such as lions, antelopes, buffalos, elephants, waterbuck, Uganda Kob and other types of antelopes.
Return to your Lodge for lunch and, after, go for a launch cruise along the Kazinga Channel and into Lake Edward.
Boat cruise offers a good platform for photography, bird watching, and game viewing. Return to the lodge for dinner and overnight as above.
Day 11: Transfer to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park
Have breakfast; set out for the game drive in the Ishasha area, and expect to see the rare tree-climbing lions. The lions can be seen upon the fig trees.
Have lunch in the Ishasha sector and after, you will proceed to Bwindi National Park.
Dinner and overnight stay at the lodge.
Day 12: Gorilla trekking in Bwindi
Have breakfast and head out for a briefing at the park headquarters and then set off for the gorilla tracking.
This is a once-in-a-lifetime experience and unforgettable adventure. The ranger guides will lead you into the thick forest and start your search for the endangered Mountain Gorillas.
You will move up and down the rugged terrain until you finally meet these harmonious creatures that will entertain you with performances for about 1 hour.
The activity can take 2-7 hours since the gorillas move up and down. This is an awesome and exciting moment. En route, there are other types of primates, such as monkeys, birds and more.
Return for dinner and overnight stay.
Day 13: Transfer to Lake Mburo national park – Boat cruise
After early morning breakfast, meet with your guide and embark on your journey in Lake Mburo national park.
It is a 7-8 hours’ drive from Mbale with an en route stop in Kampala for lunch and several other stopovers at the Uganda Equator.

Boat Cruise
Upon arrival, connect for an afternoon boat ride on Lake Mburo, which will get you quite close to Crocodiles and Hippos. Return to the lodge for dinner and overnight at the lodge.
Day 14: Nature Walk in Lake Mburo & transfer to Entebbe / Kampala
Early morning, after your breakfast, meet your ranger guides for your walking safari in Lake Mburo National Park to closely encounter wildlife. Thereafter, embark on your drive back to Kampala.
It is a 4-5-hour drive with en route lunch. Your safari guide will drop you off at a location you advise or drop you off at Entebbe international airport for your onward flight back home.
