Detailed Itinerary
Day 1: Arrival at Entebbe International Airport, Transfer to Hotel
Upon arrival, our driver guide will pick you up upon your arrival at Entebbe International Airport. He’ll brief you on the safari and take you to the hotel for dinner and an overnight stay.
Depending on your flight time arrival, you may have a Kampala city tour where you will get an opportunity to learn of the country’s culture and history.
Dinner and overnight stay at the lodge.
Day 2: Transfer to Murchison Falls National Park, Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary
Wake up to a sumptuous breakfast at the lodge and thereafter proceed to check out for a transfer to Murchison Falls National Park.
En route, you will make a stopover at the Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary for a white rhino tracking experience. Rhino tracking experience is the opening to your sighting of the Big 5 in Uganda. After rhino tracking, you will have lunch at a selected restaurant in the sanctuary.
Thereafter, you will proceed to Murchison Falls National Park, the largest national park in Uganda with loads of mammals and the strongest waterfalls in the world.
Enjoy a game drive as you drive to your lodge of stay.
Dinner and overnight stay at the lodge
Day 3: Game drive in Murchison Falls National Park, Boat safari
Have an early breakfast at the lodge, then proceed for a ferry crossing that will take you to the Nile River bank, where you can enjoy a game drive that rewards you with various mammals, including elephants, buffaloes, giraffes, and antelopes, as well as a chance to spot the Big 5 while hunting, among many others. Various species of birds can also be spotted.
After lunch, embark on a boat safari to the base of the falls. This boat safari offers a great opportunity to see serried ranges of hippos basking in the Nile waters, Nile crocodiles, and a number of waterbirds, including the very elusive shoebill stork.
At the shores, spot a number of animals taking an afternoon drink to quench their thirst say elephants, buffaloes and a variety of antelopes. After the boat safari, transfer back to the lodge and enjoy yet another game drive. Dinner and overnight stay at the lodge.
Day 4: Transfer to Kibale Forest National Park
Enjoy a sumptuous breakfast at the lodge and then check out and proceed for a transfer to Kibale Forest National Park. This drive will be via Lake Albert and the escarpment area that will reward you with a beautiful view of the Great Rift valley.
You will make a lunch stopover in Hoima and then proceed with your transfer to Kibale National Park through Kagadi town, with local communities of grass-thatched houses and little children playing around or returning from school.
Upon reaching the park, check in at the lodge and relax as you await dinner and an overnight stay.
Day 5: Chimpanzee Tracking, Bigodi wetland eco-walk
After an early breakfast at the lodge, head out to the Kanyanchu visitor center for a briefing on the activity at hand and thereafter proceed for a chimpanzee tracking experience in Kibale. Expect to see habituated chimpanzees and a number of other 12 primate species, like mangabeys and monkeys.
After, you will have an afternoon Bigodi wetland eco-walk that has you appreciating the local community within, the birds and a number of primates. Later, return to the lodge for dinner and an overnight stay.
Day 6: Transfer to Semuliki National Park & Game Drive
After an early breakfast at the lodge, you will check out of the lodge and depart Kibale Forest National Park for a transfer to Semuliki National Park, which is just 2.5 hours away. Once in the park, check in at the lodge and take time to relax as you await lunch.
After lunch, head out for an afternoon game drive in Semuliki National park for an opportunity to spot loads of antelopes, buffaloes, warthogs and much more. Return to the lodge for dinner and an overnight stay.
Day 7: Nature walk, transfer to Queen Elizabeth National Park
Enjoy breakfast at the lodge and head out for a morning nature walk for an opportunity to view primates.
Transfer to Queen Elizabeth National Park and be rewarded with views of the Rwenzori mountains. Lunch will be enjoyed en route.
Once in the park, check-in at the lodge and then proceed for an evening game drive. Observe a variety of mammals, including nocturnal wildlife such as lions, leopards, and hyenas as they prepare to hunt, as well as elephants, buffaloes, and kobs as they return from their long day and go to rest.
You will return to the lodge, have dinner and an overnight stay.
Day 8: Morning game drive, Boat cruise
Enjoy breakfast, and then head out for a morning game drive for an opportunity to spot some of the Big Five as they return from their night hunt, as well as birds that sing not so far away. After, return to the lodge for a mouth-watering breakfast. Spend the rest of the morning at leisure.
After lunch, head out for an afternoon boat safari on Kazinga channel. Kazinga channel links Lake Edward to Lake George and has a number of water birds and water animals like hippos and crocodiles.
Return to the lodge thereafter and get to enjoy a game drive, spotting more animals. Dinner and overnight stay at the lodge.
Day 9: Lake Katwe salt-mining area, transfer to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park
After breakfast at the lodge, head out to the Lake Katwe area to experience salt mining. After, proceed to visit Lake Munyanyang for a chance to see flamingos.
Afterward, you will transfer to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park via the Ishasha sector, which is famous for its tree-climbing lions.
Make a stopover for lunch at a selected restaurant and then proceed to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park, a UNESCO world heritage site that harbors more than half the total gorilla population.
Upon getting to the park, check in and relax as you await dinner and an overnight stay.
Day 10: Gorilla trekking in Bwindi experience
Wake up to a sumptuous breakfast. Carry a packed lunch and proceed to the park headquarters for a briefing and a gorilla group allocation.
You will then proceed to search the gorillas. This gorilla trekking experience in Bwindi has you encountering the gorillas at close range and spending one hour with them. Lunch will be enjoyed in the jungle.

After spending your allocated time with the gorillas, trek back to the starting point from where you will receive your gorilla trekking certificate.
Your driver-guide will be ready to transfer you back to the lodge. Dinner and overnight stay at the lodge.
Day 11: Batwa, Transfer to Lake Mburo National Park
After breakfast, go for a Batwa pygmy visit to learn about the ancient forest dwellers who were hunters and gatherers and depended solely on the forest for everything. They co-existed with the animals in the forest until they got evicted. During a Batwa cultural experience, you will learn about their various activities.
Afterward, proceed to transfer to Lake Mburo National Park, with lunch provided en route. Once in the park, proceed to your lodge of stay, check-in and relax.
Later, you will go for a night game drive of Lake Mburo National Park savannah plains. You will sight a number of nocturnal park animals.
Return to the lodge for dinner and an overnight stay.
Day 12: Boat Cruise on Lake Mburo and Transfer to Kampala
After breakfast, enjoy a morning boat safari on Lake Mburo and get to see a number of birds and animals. This boat safari takes two hours only.
After, depart the park for a transfer to Kampala. You will make a lunch stopover en route and another at the Equator in Kayabwe, where you have an opportunity to stand in two different hemispheres of the world and a photography moment.
You will proceed to Kampala, arriving in the evening. Check in at the hotel, have dinner and stay overnight.
Day 13: Transfer to Jinja, en-route activities and River Nile activities
Wake and transfer to Jinja after enjoying your breakfast at the hotel. You will enjoy a number of en route activities, like visiting Sezibwa Falls and learning about its cultural background and Mabira Forest, where you will have the opportunity to enjoy a 2-hour nature walk and bird- watching activity. You will go to Jinja, eat lunch by the Nile, and visit its source.
At the end of it all, you will have your dinner and overnight stay at the hotel.
Day 14: Transfer to Mbale, Sipi falls walk
After breakfast, you will transfer to Mbale, from where you will have lunch at a selected restaurant and then proceed to Sipi for a Sipi falls walk.
Get to see a number of coffee plantations and communities with the locals carrying on with their activities. After, return to your lodge of stay for dinner and an overnight stay.
Day 15: Hike To Sipi Falls
Today, you will get to hike the three waterfalls at Sipi after enjoying a sumptuous breakfast at the lodge. While on this 3-waterfall hike, you will have an opportunity to view the Karamojong plains on a very clear day. Lunch will be had along the hike. After, you will return to the lodge for dinner and an overnight stay.
Day 16: Departure to Entebbe / Kampala
This is the last day of the safari. Wake up to a sumptuous breakfast at the lodge and then proceed for departure to Entebbe International Airport, where you will catch your next flight.
