Detailed Itinerary

Day 1: Arrival

Upon arrival at Entebbe airport , our company representative will pick you up for a brief information about the safari.

After embark on a city tour to explore the best of Kampala.

Later check into the hotel / accommodation for a relaxed evening , dinner and overnight stay.

Day 2: Transfer to Murchison Falls National Park

After breakfast your driver will be ready to pick you up from your lodge in Entebbe and embark on a journey to Murchison falls national park with a stopover at Ziwa rhino sanctuary situated in Masindi district. Here you will spend 1-2 hours tracking the white rhinos. While trekking the white rhinos, you will spot other wildlife that reside in these sanctuary including mammals, birds and different flora species.

After trekking rhinos, you will enjoy an enroute lunch in Masindi and be driven direct to Murchison falls national park via top of falls to witness the cool breathe downstream from the waterfall. Proceed to check in at the lodge for dinner and enjoy an overnight stay.

Day 3: Game drive and afternoon boat cruise

Upon getting breakfast, you will meet your safari drive to take you on a game drive amidst wildlife. Amongst the wildlife you will spot include mammals such as Elephants, buffaloes, waterbucks, giraffes, Leopards which are usually seen shying away and rushing to get a hideout. You will spot some primate species such as baboon, lots of bird species including king fisher, goliath heron etc. after the game drive, you will be transferred back to the lodge for lunch.

After embark on a drive to Paraa while a boat sets off at 2:00pm therefore ensure that you arrive at the starting point in time in order to be part of the fascinating exploration while sailing on top of fresh water while glancing at the wildlife in water and at the shore including crocodiles, hippos and lots of other mammals and water birds.

Once the boat arrives at the base of the water fall, those intending to hike up the fall get off and then the boat return to the shore where you will meet with your driver whichever way you go to be returned to the lodge for dinner and overnight.

Day 4: Transfer to Kibale Forest National Park

Wake up , have breakfast and check out of the lodge, head out for  10 hours of road trip to Kibale forest national park, a park dominated by 13 species of primates. Being a driving day, lunch will be consumed along the way and continue with the journey arriving late in the evening for dinner and overnight sleep.

Day 5: Chimpanzee trekking and guided Bigodi walk

After breakfast, embark on a drive to the park headquarters where you will meet with other trekkers for a briefing and later on hire a porter before embarking on a search for chimpanzees in kibale forest. While in the forest you will be able to view other primates in the same forest where chimpanzee reside. Amongst primates you will encounter include Monkeys such as Red-tailed monkeys, Baboon etc. once you land on chimpanzees, you will spend just an hour taking photographs and interacting with the chimpanzees since they are used to human presence.

By the way, it’s also in Kibale forest where chimpanzee habituation is conducted therefore you are free to enjoy the trek or pay an extra cost and habituate the chimpanzees.

After enjoy a packed lunch or return to the lodge for a hot meal and relax abit.

In the late afternoon, you will be guided by the local tour guides in the wetlands of bigodi which is as sanctuary set apart to protect the several species of fauna and flora including primates, mammals, species of birds, and different species of botanical plants. After spending at least 2 hours of a walk, you will return to the lodge for dinner and rest from a tiring day.

Day 6: Visit to the Crater Lakes and transfer to Semliki national park

Wake up and have breakfast, head out for a visit the crater where you will spot a lot of fauna and flora species along the shores of these small crater lakes and later return to the lodge for lunch, Freshen up and drive to Semliki national park .

Upon arrival in the evening. Relax at the lodge as you await dinner and overnight stay.

Day 7: Visit to sempaya hot springs and boat cruise

A breakfast, you will be set for a nature walk towards sempaya hot spring where you will be in position to have a glance at the hot spring that gushes out water through an 8m whole and boiling at about 100oC. Test this water by dropping in a raw egg or a raw green banana and in a few minutes, it will be very ready for consumption.

Proceed with the walk to spot other creatures in the jungle, including primates, mammals, and bird species, since the park is known to be the best place for birders.

Return for lunch at the lodge before embarking on an afternoon boat cruise on Lake Albert to maximize your sightings of fauna and flora in this park.

Later return to the lodge for dinner and overnight.

Day 8: Depart to Entebbe / Kampala

You will be served with breakfast and later on check out of the lodge to meet your driver for a drive back to Kampala with enroute lunch and a stopover at the equator for experiments and photographs.

Later on, you will be driven to Kampala for a brief city tour before being transferred to Entebbe International airport departures to the next destination.
