Detailed Itinerary for a 3 Days Sport Fishing Tour in Murchison Falls National Park.

Day 1: Pickup from Kampala/Entebbe and Transfer to Murchison Falls National Park.

Depending on your location in Entebbe / Kampala , you will be picked up by our driver guide, who will brief you about the safari before transporting you to the national park.

On the way, you’ll stop for lunch and visit the Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary to track white rhinos that are being protected in the sanctuary. After rhino tracking, you will continue your journey with a stopover in Masindi before heading to Murchison Falls National Park in the northern province of Uganda.

Upon arrival, you will drive right to the top of the falls, where you will enjoy beautiful views of the cascade, water splashes, and other activities. From there, you will go to the lodge for dinner and an overnight stay.

Day 2: Full Days Sport Fishing on River Nile

After breakfast, you will carry a packed lunch and meet your driving guide to cruise to the bottom of the falls for an exhilarating sport fishing excursion.

During your fishing trip, you will be accompanied by an expert fishing guide and will be able to utilize various fishing tactics such as live bait/casting lures to capture different fish kinds such as Nile perch and catfish, among others, if you are lucky.

Sport Fishing in Murchison Falls

After the exciting fishing adventure, you will return to the lodge for dinner and an overnight stay as described above.

Day 3: Morning Game Drive and Transfer Back to Kampala.

After breakfast on the last day of your Uganda Safari , you will check out of the lodge and meet up with your driver guide to go for a morning game drive where you will be able to view predators like lions, leopards, hyenas, and jackals before they get back to their hiding areas, and animals like giraffes, elephants, buffaloes, waterbucks, bushbucks, Jackson’s hartebeest, warthogs, and Uganda kobs, among others, grazing in the open plains with dew.

You will have morning views of the sunrise in the park, along with different bird species and wildlife.

After the wildlife drive, you will leave the park and return to Kampala. On the way, you will eat en route lunch in Masindi town and then continue the journey to Kampala, arriving early evening. When you arrive, your driver guide will drop you off at Entebbe International Airport for your departure flight or drop you off at any place of convenience.
