Day 1: set off from Kampala
You will depart from Entebbe / Kampala and start your journey on the Gulu highway, which takes about a 5-6 hour drive, you will have some stopovers along your journey; you will stop in luwero market for refreshment and buy some certain fruits, like mangoes, to eat along the journey.
As soon as you reach Masindi, you will have another stop, have some lunch, relax, and then continue to the national park. You will arrive within the park in the late evening and continue to hike to the top of the falls with a lot of experience and unforgettable moments. After their drive to the lodge, check in for dinner and overnight.

Day 2: game drive & Boat cruise
You will wake up early after your breakfast at your lodge; your driver will come and pick you up for a morning game drive, which is the best time for viewing a lot of mammals since most of them do hunting in the early morning, especially the cat family.
During the game drive, animals spotted include elephants, buffaloes, lions, giraffes, antelopes, warthogs, hyenas, Jackson heartbeat and elusive leopards.

After your game drive, you will be driven back to the lodge for lunch and have some time to relax while you wait for the afternoon boat cruise. During the boat trip, you will be able to spot various mammals and bird species, which may include Nile crocodiles, hippos, buffaloes, elephants, and giraffes that normally come to the Nile for water in the afternoon.
The bird species include shoebills, silverbirds, yellow-billed storks, African jacanas, great egrets, and many more.
Day 3: chimpanzee tracking & return to Kampala
On the last day of your 3 days Murchison falls national park big 5 safari, you will wake up very early in the morning, have your breakfast and check out of the lodge; drive to the headquarters for a briefing about the chimpanzee tracking in the Budongo forest; the tracking takes about 1-5 hours according to the location of the chimpanzees; and you are required to travel or move with food since it may take time.
After spotting them, you’re given an extra hour to be with them, have some good moments, take pictures, and study them about their behaviors.
